MENTORING
“If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.”
Why Mentoring?
At OC Lions we recognize the importance of our youth and that their success is truly what will shape the future for us all. That is why we are excited to provide mentoring and networking opportunities to all of our youth members. Mentoring is not simply giving advise but a sincere investment in the development of another person. It can be an amazingly rewarding experience, where lifelong ties can be formed.
Isaac Newton is quoted to have said, “If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants”. Our communities are filled with everyday giants that have accomplished amazing things. We hope to provide a platform for those that have climbed the ladder of success to share their experiences in the hopes that those that come after will climb even further.
