About Us

Over the years, the OC Lions Foundation has been promoting the sport of cricket throughout Orange County. OCLF is responsible for creating one of Orange County’s oldest cricket clubs, the Orange County Cricket Association, more colloquially known as the OCCA. The OC Lions Foundation organized Orange County’s first ever Sri Lankan New Year Celebration in 2009 which has, since then, become an annual tradition for many members of the Sri Lankan community living in Orange County. OCLF also organized the Inter-school Cricket Tournament in Orange County, known as the Six-a-side Cricket Tournament, which began in 2012. This event has grown to become extremely popular in both the Sri Lankan and cricket enthusiast communities in Southern California. 

This foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of those who are underprivileged. The OC Lions Foundation has founded and funded a multitude of service projects, some of which are ongoing to this day. These projects aim to help those who are in need and encourage, as well as provide a path, for people of all ages to give back to society. All donations received by the OC Lions Foundation are entirely allocated to respective projects.  We, the members of the OC Lions Foundation, invite you to join this organization.
