OCLF Annual Homeless Feeding Project for 2023

OC Lions organized the annual homeless feeding project on November 12^th, 2023, at Sri Rathana International Buddhist Center in Anaheim. This is the 15 consecutive event with the only exception being 2 years during the COVID period. The Homeless Feeding Project started in 2007.
Organizing and successfully completing an annual homeless feeding project is a commendable effort. Providing 500 food packages with a variety of items, including sandwiches, water bottles, bananas, apples, chips, chocolates, and pretzels, must have made a significant impact on the recipients. Such initiatives contribute in small ways to community well-being and help those in need.
Vidu Walahanduwa and Mihindee Hettiarachchi were the project managers for the 2023 event.
Many volunteers gathered at the Buddhist Center from 7.00 -10.00 am, collectively completed the making of lunch packets. All lunch packets were distributed among homeless people in Los Angeles and Orange County.
